Grace’s Legacy Foundation exists to raise awareness and increase prevention of blood clot and blood disorder risks, especially in young people.
Grace Seeley was a bright, compassionate, and creative soul whose energy filled every space she entered. She was a daughter, sister, friend, performer, and dreamer known for her kindness, her laughter, and her ability to make people feel truly seen.
Though her life was tragically cut short, Grace’s story now carries purpose. Her legacy inspires education, awareness, and action — so that others may be protected through knowledge and early detection.
Blood clots (venous thromboembolism) can occur at any age — even in otherwise healthy teens. Most people are unaware that asymptomatic clots can silently threaten life.
Blood clots are often misunderstood – and frequently undetected. They can develop quietly, without obvious symptoms, and affect people of all ages, including healthy teens and young adults.
Many families don’t realize the risk until it’s too late.
Grace’s Legacy Foundation was created to change that reality. By increasing awareness, encouraging early detection, and providing clear, accessible education, we aim to protect lives and prevent families from experiencing the kind of loss no one should have to endure.
